Chris; May I suggest you check out the villages of Santa Barbara and Villa do Porto for your ancestors. I have some of those same names from S. Maria and they are from those villages.
BTW, what was the name of the first wife of Lucian Tavares de Rezendes, sister to Maria Eugenia de Rego?
