listing my ancestors from the Neps site. Maria
Rosa, listed on the site, daughter of Thomas
Pereira Jorge de Escobar & Maria Clara do Coracao
de Jesus is actually, Maria Adelaide b. 1876 that
married Jose Furtado Dutra. I provided this
information to the researcher & it was entered
incorrectly on the Neps site. Maria b. 1882 is
actually "Maria Rosa." I am searching for her
descendents in the US. Unfortunately, without her
married name this is difficult.
She immigrated in 1893 at 11yrs of age with her
17yr old sister Maria Adelaide. Her older sister
died in 1895 and by 1900, a census year, she may
have been married. Thanks again.
