I was able to obtain copies of my Paternal Grandmother's baptismal certificate but it is very difficult to read. Her info is: Maria Fernandes Year of birth was 1906. Born in Covoada, San Miguel. Parents: Francisco and Maria De Jesus Fernandes Pateranl Grandparents: Manuel & Maria Jose Fernandes Materanl Grandparents: Jose and Racurda de Jesus Sardinha She married Jose Leandro. I was also able to obtain a copy of the Baptismal Certficate for my Maternal Grandfather. His info is: Jose Resendes DOB: 5/18/1909. Born in Feteiras, San Miguel. Parents: Jose de Sousa Resendes & Gloria de Jesus Pavao Paternal Grandparents: Jacintho de Souza & Maria de Gloria Resendes Maternal Grandparents: Antonio & Jacintha Rosa Pavao He married Maria Rita Furtado.
