Shirley,

I am confused, are you talking about your grandfathers or mine?

Do you mean there is a place I should go that has naturalization papers in these two areas?

Eric,

I did search for Manuels' Naturalization papers on Ancestry, but came
up with nothing. Should I be searching somewhere else that I do not
know about?

I am continually surprised by all your help!

Adair,

I order my Sonoma county vital records from the Sonoma County Recorders office. I think it was $18 each by mail. I'll see if I can find you some exact
dates. Have you tried getting Manuels naturaliztion paperwork?

I was hoping that if I found one Birth certificate for my family I
would get information on the parents that could get my search going
again.

I found a site called Vital records that would charge $38 for a birth
certificate with no guarantee they could find it, and no credit
towards another search.

Has anyone else found another good way to get a birth certificate
without spending this money with no guarantee?

I have already collected all the data on Ancestry for this group,
birth and Baptism records do not seem to be available.
