I fooled him.  I found him in just one day of looking in the baptism book for 
March,1865, (didn't even have to look that far into the year) Cedros, 
Flores.    When I found him, I wanted to dance on the large table in the 
archive that faces the water.  The archive staff thought I was crazy when I 
kept saying, I found him, I found, I found him to everyone that was there.

He went across the bay for a change of scenery.  Either that, or he had a 
premonition in a dream that his future grandson's mother-in-law was going to 
look for him, so he wanted to play hard to get :)
