Hi Georgina, I believe we have corresponded before, but I am not sure. I have connecting relatives to some of your ancestors from Nossa Senhora da Luz, Graciosa, Azores. Jose de Souza Neto and Francisca Carolina Ataide are my 3rd great grandparents. Jose was born 17 Apr 1826 in Luz, Graciosa, Azores, and Francisca Carolina Ataide was born 25 Nov 1826 in Sao Matheus, Graciosa, Azores. I am attaching 2 pdf's that shows some of the ancestors of Francisca Carolina Ataide and Jose de Souza Neto. I have more info than is on the pdf's documents, so let me know if you have any questions. Also to clarify something in the document, Antonio Fugaca Ataide i believe was only married to Laurianna Roza Silva, not Maria Jose as well, and the resulting children were from that marriage with Laurianna.
