Greetings from sub-freezing Pittsburgh (the one in PA., not the one without an "H" in CA.). I'm sure getting saudades for my native California when reading some of your comments above. An Azorean-born friend who's lived in California since he was a kid visited here last weekend, couldn't believe how cold it was (high of 24°F), coitado. I never experienced falling snow or sub-freezing temps till I was 21 and, believe me, this four-distinct-seasons propaganda one sometimes hears is just a canard (probably invented by chamber of commerces).
