Cheri - There's a branch of Paixão from Madeira and Porto Santo if what you're looking for leads you there. The Arquivo Regional da Madeira website has all of the marriages of Porto Santo on line, you can get the year from that but would need the films for the actual dates. Branches of this family went to Hawaii and the name became Paishon.
