Chris, The village of Sao Roque is on Pico island. Unless this information refers to a church by the same name. There is a village named Sao Pedro on Santa Maria island. However, I think just about every island has a church named Sao Pedro.
Actual Sao Roque records (for that village) are not yet online. But there's a database and you will need to verify what you find with the records: http://www.neps.ics.uminho.pt/geneweb/gwd.exe?b=SRoquePico;lang=pt Click on the British flag and you can search. Nothing is online for the island of Santa Maria.
