Many records are not available for anywhere from 70 to 100 years depending
if you are looking at a local, state, or federal level.

You can order the death certificate on Antonio and see if it lists the
island or the freguesia/village.  You can also see if he had an obituary
that lists where he was from.  You need the freguesia/village to begin
research in the Azores.  And if you can't find it on Antonio, then research
his brother, Joseph and see if he said where he was from.  Contact Joseph's
descendants and see if they were told any information.
