I think Susan had to practically beg the priest for them. She is very, very, very, very lucky that she was allow to remove them and photocopy them at that time. Very lucky. I didn't know that they are now at the local archives. I thought that because their basic purpose was to fulfill a church requirement, they weren't really vital records and weren't at the archive, but I must have been misinformed. Sorry!!!
