That would almost cetainly be Manuel Viveiros Miranda, of the Viveiros Mirandas of Bretanha, S. Miguel. I can narrow it down for you iof you provide me with the names of his wives. Ihave many Manuel Viveirs Mirandas in my file. Dates and places would be helpful. John

I have a Manuel V. Miranda 1847 – 1923 who was my great grandmother’s second husband. I know he was born in the Azores. I’m pretty sure it was Sao Miguel but I don’t have any documents to prove the island. He had two sons that I know of. Antone Miranda 1879 – 1942 born in the Azores and Frank P. Miranda 1891 – 1931 born in the US who married my grandmother’s sister. (Yep, he married his step-niece who was 20 years younger. Yuk!) They lived in the San Jose Calif. area and are buried at Calvery Cemetery in San Jose, CA.
