My grandfather Antonio Furtado came over on the US Cretic in 10/30/20 from Sao Miguel, but I have Boston not NY. My father told me that his father's brother had come in earlier Joaquim Furtado maybe 1912 from Sao Miguel not sure what ship.
I don't have Ernesto Furtado that I know of on my lines.
