Apparently they had to describe the workers before the passport was issued by the local authorities to the Hawaiian ones. They have an emigration museum in the province Ribeira Grande on Sao Miguel. If you want to do a search the site é http: / / mea.cm-ribeiragrande.pt <http://mea.cm-ribeiragrande.pt/> /. It doesn't have alot but will grow. I received this from the curator of the museum. -- To unsubscribe from this group, send email to [email protected]. Follow the confirmation directions when they arrive.
