Hi Eleanor,
If you have your grandfathers Naturalization papers and he was naturalized in Massachusetts, does that include his Petition for Naturalization? Depending on when he was naturalized his petition will have that information. The petitions for naturalization could be in different places depending on when they were naturalized. I think prior to WW II they would be in the Massachusetts Archives in Boston (Near JFK library) after WW II they would be at the National Archives in Waltham. A good way to know is to look on his Naturalization Certificate. If he was naturalized in a Massachusetts Court (i.e. Taunton Superior Court) then they would be in the Massachusetts Archives in Boston. If he was naturalized in a Federal Court (Boston) they would be in the National Archives in Waltham.
