Check out these Directories for following States on Ancestry. They call it
the 1940 Census Substitute. I checked some family members and they were
there. This is great precursor to 1940 census info. So far I see CT, CA,
ME, MA, NY, NH, RI, VT. Look like they are also doing a Beta Test on other
States, not sure for what years - it just says various years.
