Is anyone researching *Teixeira-Nogueira-Vas-Fazenda-Viegas* in Nordeste village (Sao Jorge Church) on Sao Miguel Island. My genealogy trail goes dry around the 1575 period. I am trying to find any info on a Joam Vas Teixeira or a Manuel Vas Fazenda b.1560 and his wife Ines Viegas. Or a Tome Nogueira and his wife Catharina Aveiro Luis. They are all from the Nordeste region-Sao Miguel. I believe my Vas Teixeira line "may" be related to Tristao Vas Teixeira of Maderia Island? A long shot! Thanks NTX
