Leonard, I don't know where you live, but the New Bedford Public Library has the St. John's Cemetery book. I don't think it was created because someone went to the cemetery office and copied all the records. I think it was created by people walking the cemetery. So it is most like a book of all the MARKED graves. Note that I said most likely.
It was published by the American Portuguese Genealogical and Historical Society (APGHS) out of Taunton, MA. They no longer exist. If any copies of that book still exist, they are at Ernest Cardoza's house. He was the last president of the APGHS. I want to say the book sold for about $50 or so. If there are any list members who own this book, I'm sure they will speak up and offer to do a look up for you.
