Unfortunately there is only my mom who doesn't know much, her mom who's 90
and doesn't remember much about her own family let alone her husband the
Portuguese side, and a cousin who knows what I know, I have the islands and
both of my sets of ggg grandparents names. So I've pretty much exhausted
what I can get from family. I did email both the clerks from Dartmouth and
New Bedford to see who had their death certificates. Mr Ventura said he
could help but without knowing where on the islands they came from I could
go broke fast. I do know my gg ggggrandmother arrived in Fairhaven,ma in
1893 and she had a brother in Irvington,CA but what I don't know is if she
came east from CA or came from Pico. I can't find him anyplace now either.
