Cheri; I recently received my Family Finder results. They show that my dna, or my brother's to be more exact, is 87.63% Western European and 12.37% Middle East (North African). Under population it has: French/Spanish and Mozabite respectively.
I remember you telling us that Western European was what we would get back if we were Portuguese but; I'm wondering why on the map they include, they do not show Portugal as being part of Western Europe, at least in the portion they color in to indicate the area they are talking about. Not trying to be persnickety here, just want to understand. On the other hand, Mozabite? Wonder where that came in??? And lastly, do I understand correctly that if I had sent my dna in as opposed to my brother's, the results could have been slightly different, notwithstanding the male dna component but; because we inherit dna "randomly".
