Dear Karen

Yes. Francisco was born on the 12 of January.

Translation: On the 2 day of the month of February in the year 1879 in
this church of Nossa Senhora dos Anjos da Agua de Pau council of Villa de
Lagoa, Diocese of Angra, baptized an individual of the male sex who was
given the name Francisco who was born in this village about one hour in the
morning on the 12 day of January before, the legitimate son of Manuel de
Sousa Cruz, ?? and Maria de Luz, domestic native parishioners and married
in this village where they live on the rue do Ba???. The paternal grandson
of Manuel da Cruz and ?? Cancella and Maternal of Antonio de Sales and
Jacintha Emilia. For Godfather Virginio d'Almeida single, ?? and Maria

If this is the correct record Congratulation!! Keep up the search. Maybe
