I was wondering if anyone knew when I could find ship logs for various
ships that took portuguese immirgrants from the Azores and Madeira to
California?
I have of course looked through the different passenger manifests and
lists, but some there are some details that I was trying to find - such as
there were 2 deaths on board of my ancestors supposidly due to accidents,
and maybe the ship logs would make note of that and possibly state if they
were burried at sea or at a different port.
Any info would be helpful.
