Thanks, Eliseu. First, I am searching for baptism information on my ggg-grandfater Cosme Joze de Azevedo. Per his obituary (from Norte Grande, Sao Jorge), he was born around 1821 in Sao Matheus on Graciosa. Per his obituary and marriage record, he is the son of Aurelia Rosa, who was unmarried. I don't have any information on her or her parents. While I am unable to corroborate it, there is a handwritten family note that states Cosme's father was named Cosmos (or Cosme) Jose Rosa. Thankfully, all of their first names are relatively uncommon :) Any info would be appreciated.
