There has been a piece of property in our family that my grandparents bought many years ago. From what I understand it was rented out, but the renters quit paying rent at least 20 years ago. Apparently, my aunt is having a hard time figuring out what to do. She has contacted some relatives there, but hasn't had much success. This is about 6 acres (supposedly very nice) in Lages do Pico, I'm guessing it is near Almagreira since that is the area where my grandparents were from, but I'm not sure of the exact location.
We were wondering if someone on this group has some ideas on what to do. How do we find out whose name is on this property and what is happening with it? Thanks for your help.
