The Dabney name is in my "American" family tree (maternal side) so my interest was piqued. After digging around a little bit I found that my family is related to this Dabney family through my 4th great grandmother. What a coincidence that the Dabney family is associated with the Azores (paternal side)! Also, in researching this I found another book about the Dabney family that is full of useful information.
