Hi San F, The baptism does not have extra info. It states Maria was born on the 6th (top line of page 2) of the current month and year (which is on page 1 for the baptism date - 28 Dec 1884. It states father unknown (pai incognito) and the mother as Maxima de Jesus. It states that the grandparents of the baby Maria are also unknown :( But Maxima is from the freguesia of Vila Franca do Campo. It does not say if it's from the Sao Miguel Arcanjo (SMA) church or the Sao Pedro church. I'd start with SMA.
Marriage: Manuel Franco, 16 years. Maria, 18 years, natural daughter of ...well, it looks like Francisca de Jesus and pai incognito. The U.S. obituary or the death certificate should give you an approx. date of birth. Maxima should be easier to find, even if looking through all the SMA births.
