Hi Doug,

First of all, I have to thank Cheri Mello. She found the baptism record for 
my ggrandfather Francisco Furtado [de Sousa] in Livramento. She opened up 
the doors for me!
For my luck, the grandfather of my Francisco Furtado, José Furtado from 
Vila Franca do Campo, married in São Roque, was also an ancestor of George 
Pacheco. He handed to me on a platter all the researches he had done about 
him!
And then, many friends had helped me out with my researches along all these 
years.
I am very grateful for all that.
