I have SILVERIA ancestors from lCedros, Flores who put down roots in Provincetown Mass and later the Boston area. Have you by any chance run accross any of the following? My mother's maiden name was Olive Pearl Wilson LEWIS: 1905-1977: Her father was Thomas Joseph LEWIS: 1872-1934 both born, raised, & died in Massachusetts. His father was Manuel Jose LEWIS/LUIZ: b: 1834 Cedros, Flores, Azores - PROVINCETOWN, MASS - d: 1909 Winthrop, Massachusetts. He is reported immigrated 1850 at New London, Conn. ! His father appears to be Capt. Jose Joaquim da Silveira; 1797-???? Flores, Azores His father appears to be Agostinho Jose' da Silveira ,Azores And his father appears to be Joao Rodrigues Serpa, Azores : I am seeking confirmation of these Azorian ancestors and additional generations of this family line.
