The church of Praia da Vitoria is called Santa Cruz.
If you got too close to the computer monitor, those records would have bit you. :-)

Yea, it's a little strange and if I weren't familiar with it, I might have missed it, too.
It reminds me of when I do research and find someone from Flores or Sao Miguel and they use the church name that I don't have well memorized.
So I have to go look it up and remember, oh, that's Lomba or that's Ponta Garca, etc.

Not sure what the logic was to list by village and then switch to the church name in some cases.

Everytime I bring up the Concelho of Praia and then check out the villages under it, I don’t see Praia de Vitoria! I see Cabo da Praia. Am I reading something wrong?

Are you not aware that Praia da Vitoria is online?
It's been online for maybe a year, since all of Terceira was completed.
