Hi Shirley, How have you been? My grandfather was Tomas Pereira Jorge de Escobar b. March 8.1868 in Cedros, Faial, son of Tomas, grandson of Antonio & ggrandson of Manuel Silveira Goularte b. 1765 in Cedros, Faial.
My grandmother was Maria da Conceicao Avila b. Sept 30, 1873 in Ribeiras, Pico, dau of Manuel Machado Avila b. March 7, 1832 & ggrandaughter of Manuel Machado Avila b. July 1, 1790 in Ribeiras, Pico. I also have Pereira Oliveira, Pires Simas, Pires Ramalho, Vieira Soares & Silveira Cardoso from Ribeiras, Pico. Let me know if you have any more questions.
