I was looking over all my cousins to see who is a candidate to have the mt-DNA testing to show the direct maternal line to my ancestors from Chile and was reminded of one such cousin named Graça Resendes, whom I have never met, but was told lives in Canada. At least she did in 1994.
I estimate she was born about 1949, probably in Conceição, Angra. I don't know her father, but her mother is Maria Dolores Pinto Resendes, aka Palomita Resendes, whom I have met and is a virtual treasure trove for family genealogy and dates.
Is there any chance some of our Canadian list members recognize this person, Graça Resendes?
She might be married and so maybe uses a different surname.
Just thought I would take a stab at it.
