Unfortunately, as you well know, this sometimes happens.

You two are probably the most helpful to new members and people might not realize how much time it takes to do all that research. They can take it for granted.

These days, it's it not so uncommon for people to get their ancestry handed to them on a silver platter, with websites like Neps and the fact we all have so many distant relatives we find.

Twenty years ago, such things were rare.

I suppose there is always the chance it also helped others who will find your research valuable in the future.
