I looked back at my and Shirley's GEDCOMs on Family Finder and I see may be related to an aunt of Constancia de Jesus (who married Antonio de Mello).
Shirley shows Constancia's grandparents as Joao Fagundes Rabello (1705-1780, Ponta Garça) and Thereza de Sousa Furtada (1707-1771, Vila Franca & Ponta Garça). I have that same couple as parents of my direct relative: Jacinta Furtado (1727-1797, Ponta Garça). So if this is right it would be another link with Shirley. I'm guessing there might be more links if I keep searching. I don't know if Ciprano is in my tree more than once, but wouldn't be surprised. So I think I'm related to Shirley through both my g-grandmother and my g-grandfather! This might help explain the fragmented DNA matches. This is interesting!
