Hi Lee,
I have run across a Garcia Duarte family of Flamengos in my research.
The names are not exactly the same, but must be closely related.
Maybe one older generation back might be where they link.
The family I was researching married into a family with Piedade, Pico ancestors, thus my interest.

Finally found the baptismal record of Adelaide Augusta Andrade born December 21, 1868. She was the daughter of Jose Silveira d'Andrade and wife Luiza da Gloria Garcia. Paternal grandparents were Antonio Silveira d'Azevedo and Abaria Luiza and the maternal grandparents were Francisco Garcia Duarte and wife Laurenna Florinda.
Curious to know if anyone might recognize any of the above.
