Beverly, Are any of the Mello's buried at the site? Is there a stone for them? If you want to honor your family member and I hope you can make some kind of contact with this Mello family, maybe they will let you put a flat stone where your family member is buried. We did this with one of our family members.
However, some members of my family were not happy when an aunt buried her husband in our grandparent's gravesites (there were 8) and then put his name on the big family stone. They would have been OK with her putting his name on a separate flat stone but not on the family stone....well, my mom was really upset she even buried him there........but that's another story. This aunt is buried there and I believe the last two sites are for her daughters which they have no problem with. Maybe they didn't like the guy?? I have a great aunt buried with some people that no one of her family knows who these people are. Whoever bought the sites (5) aren't even buried there and I guess the family doesn't even know about them. So when my great-aunt's daughter recently died, they were able to bury her next to her mother. I think they are now going to use the others for their family. Somebody paid for the sites so I guess someone might as well use them. "E" On Mon, Sep 30, 2013 at 2:51 PM, <[email protected]> wrote: > > My grandparents* Manuel S. & Mary R.
