I support #1.

But for 2, I don't see your problem. They already support diacritical marks. I have diacritics in my gedcom I posted already.

I do remember I had a problem with that, but it was simply a question of choosing the right option of two when I created it.

And I don't remember what it's called now, but if I need to make a new one, I will just do one and if that's not right, I'll delete it and choose the other.

I'll take people's suggestions to the conference.

So far I have:

1) Population Finder bar under the Family Finder matches (opt in button)

2) Diacritics support on the Gedcoms

So, if you want 1 & 2, go ahead and say so.  Then I can come armed saying I have 25 people wanting these features!
