I finally found the baptismal record of Adelaide Andrade (after lots of help from Eric Edgar - huge thank you for his help!) Believe the records says she was born on the 21st of December 1868 in Flamengos, Horta, Faial. Parents were Jose Silveira d'Andrade and Luiza da Gloria Garcia Paternal grandparents were Antonio Silveira d'Azevedo and Abaria Luiza and maternal grandparents were Francisco Garcia Duart and Laurianna Florinda. I have a couple of questions about the document (link attached below). Was the date indeed the 21st? While I was in Salt Lake, one of the helpers at the Latin America desk said is stated that the parents were not married - is this correct? Also, just after the Luiza da Gloria Garcia's name there something about P???? Parochianos?? Is this another parish? Any help, etc. greatly appreciated.
