Cheri I agree with suggestions 1 and 2, as long as the Population Finder bar is an Opt-In option. I haven't found the Population Finder information very useful so far (I show up as 100% Western European), but it is interesting.
I also wonder if it is possible to expand the search function in Family Finder so we could search on places (like Vila Franca) listed in the GEDCOM files, rather than just surnames. I have found the surname search useful for non-Azores relatives, but not for Azorean relatives because there are so many similar names and spellings. Cheri, you may already know why this isn't possible, but I thought I'd ask. Thanks!
