I cannot speak Portuguese and I am not at all familiar with with reading the language but after much scanning of Births on the island of Faial I came across this birth entry which I hope will help me move on from my brick wall.It records the baptism of Maria daughter of Joze Silveira ........ Thereza Marianna ............... Catharina Lugar of Castelo Branco ........etcand the priest is Agostinho Joset da Silveira.If someone can help translate this for me I would be so grateful.Joy
