Jane,

I've worked with 2 other people who had ancestors from Flores, Azores who
immigrated to Australia or New Zealand. I'm familiar with the databases
available for Australian passenger and shipping lists.
I've checked a number of databases, but none showed a "Triton" arrival for
1861. That particular year has a gap in the records of ships arriving at
New South Wales.

The son's name with the de Frayer may give a clue, likely originally being:
de Fraga.   Who did Anthony Lorenzo marry ?

Can you give some more information; his birthdate, marriage information ?
 With birth information he may be found in the parish baptism records of
Flores at the CCA - azores government archives site
