The date is not a death date. Most likely for some reason their marriage was not fully accepted until after Easter when they had completed their Easter Duty would be my guess.

But it mentions Riveiro Grande and I'm wondering if I'm missing some important clue. (?) Here's a case I learned about on this list regarding no rhyme or reason to last names. His name was Antonio de Lima but his father was Manoel de Souza and his mother was Izabel de Lima. So he took her name. (Eventually the De Lima name was kept.) maybe I'm getting back far enough that I'll connect with someone.
