On the left hand side is the marriage of Antonio de Lima and Francisca Roza February 1765.
Does the note in the margin give any indication of francisca"s death. (I knew he remarried. )There are a couple of words before the date. I guess if that is the death date, then they were only married 3 months. Wow! Sad. I thought it says he's from the parish of Ns das Neves. But it mentions Riveiro Grande and I'm wondering if I'm missing some important clue. (?) Here's a case I learned about on this list regarding no rhyme or reason to last names. His name was Antonio de Lima but his father was Manoel de Souza and his mother was Izabel de Lima. So he took her name. (Eventually the De Lima name was kept.) maybe I'm getting back far enough that I'll connect with someone.
