Joao, I believe the discussion was about the use of the term "Matriz civil," not "freguesia." CCA is a government website, and the government has the right to use such terms as they feel to be appropriate. However, I haven't come across the term anywhere except from a post from one of this group's members - I don't dispute it, I just haven't come across the term. So, since you've chimed in on the issue, is it a legitimate term in CCA?
