Cheri, 
Having used the LDS resources originally for backing up my family research, I 
can't help but think that CCA just did another copy job using those same 
ledgers. To that end, I recall that some Ribeira das Tainhas records were 
included in the LDS films for Ponta Garca. Do you or anyone else yet know 
whether those records from other parishes were separated out for the CCA files? 
If they weren't, we may still need to keep our LDS indices as maps so as to 
know where to locate the records for several parishes. Just sayin...
