Hello, Thank you. I've found various differences for Francisco's age...Hawaii archves has his age listed as 24, but I think that stemmed from an error in reading the passenger manifest list. Upon first glance, it appears his age is 24 from Earl of Dalhousie passenger manifest, but a closer examination reveals it is actually a 26. Also, the Ponta Delgada passport list from CCA lists him as 26, the Immigrant Ancestry Project from BYU lists him as 26 (which they compiled from the Portuguese Consulate records in Hawaii) , and now the documents from the MUSEU DA EMIGRAÇÃO AÇORIANA has him as age 26. I'll get a final confirmation from the Bom Jesus records when they are posted on CCA. Can wait for the records to be posted!!
I've done so much research on CCA records I feel I'm ready to tackle Ribeira Grande, when the time comes. I do try an help on when people post records on here for "deciphering" but I find I'm eons behind many of the members. Thanks again for posting the information.
