Hi Ricardo.. I know about Via Oceanica. I fully support that the rest of the CCA site (the content, announcements and institutional information) is built and managed by them. No question there. I question only the too simple interface to the 'Inventário Genealógico'. But like you said, what matters is that we get those books in whatever format.
As to Digitarq. It's not discontinued. It's somewhat evolved. Digitarq is completely free and was paid by Portuguese government money. The project that was used to pay Keep Solutions to develop it ended. However, Digitarq is still being maintained - they're installing a new version of it on the Torre do Tombo site today (according to a post by them in Facebook). Keep Solutions continues to develop it. It's now called Archeevo, and it's in use by the Archives of Porto, Braga and Coimbra. Thanks for clarifying what company and which 'obsolete' you were referring. I think that we've reached the end of the road in the technical details here. A final note to say that there are also mixups in the other archives. It's not something exclusive to CCA, and their mixups are really minor.
