Hello all,
I could use a little help with the following baptismal entry from Rosario,
Lagoa:

http://culturacores.azores.gov.pt/biblioteca_digital/SMG-LG-ROSARIO-B-1859-1860/SMG-LG-ROSARIO-B-1859-1860_item1/P11.html

In looking for info on my ggrandmother, Jacintha d'Oliveira Luiz I discovered
this entry and saw that she was a twin. They were born 8 Dec 1858 but not
baptized until 2 Oct 1859 - was that normal for twins? The parents are correct
(João d'Oliveira and Maria Eugenia) but I can't make out if the surname Homem
is hyphenated from the 1st to 2nd lines. Also, Maria Eugenia seems to be
originally from Ponta Delgada but I can't totally make out the name of the
parish (St. John?). It's the ink coming through from the other side of the
page that is throwing me off. If anyone can give me a clearer translation?

Thanks!
Joanne
