Funny you mention that.
My 2nd cousin h as a mother born in Cuba, but all her ancestry is from the Canary Islands.
He also has some matches to some with Azores ancestry.

My brother has a strong DNA (E-M35.1) match in Cuba.  I'm curious if many Azorean people went to Cuba? Did whaling ships stop there?
