Have you researched te surrounding parishes? Sao Lazaro (Agua d'Alto, Bom Jesus , Menino (Ribeira das Tainhas), or even Nossa Senhora da Piedade (Ponta Garca), are all close enough that persons married those othe parishes may have eventually moved to VFdC.
