Hello: On the first link below, the left hand page. Is the groom's father's surname Jacome ( I read his name as Joze de Resendes (Ja_come?). I saw that Jacome name again for him on another record but I'm not clear on it. Here's the link.

While looking for the birth of his son in 1742, I came across another child of Joze. The handwriting was a shock! :)(oh my goodness!). I need to get used to studying this priest's handwriting but I THINK it is record for Victoria, dau of Jose de Resendes Ja come (?) or jocatre (?) and Marianna Carvalha born ? Day of May 1743 (in the first link above, the name CarvalhA is spelled with an A at the end. Could this just be the way I'm reading it, or is there a CarvalhA and a CarvalhO. (?)
